The Alliance for Mountain Environments and the Institute for Winter Sport will be working together in joint projects exploring the various similarities and challenges in winter sport and especially the unique nature of mountain communities. The FHAM recognizes the value of international and interdisciplinary research activities. FH President, Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Werner and Prof. Dr. Joel Schmidt (Dean of Key Competencies) have been working with Harold Richins and TRU in this field. Both universities are committed to expanding programs, research and exchange opportunities for students in the area of Sport and Adventure Management, and are already working together to develop a joint Master of Arts in "International Adventure Sports Management".
